I purchased this house for 30K as a retirement gift to myself. Over the course of 3 years, I renovated the house from top to bottom. Highlights include an entirely new porch with custom support columns, a french drain to prevent basement flooding, new soffit and fascia, and upgraded kitchen.

The existing porch was rotted and needed to be replaced. I replaced the ceiling with rot-resistant cedar planks and four recessed led lights. After adding new columns, I used wrought iron balusters to create the railing. Accenting the wrought iron railing is custom stonework on the columns.
